Find their next favorite pair
Start with the shoes they already reach for. A low slip-on, a platform and a lace-up boot suit different routines. These seven picks make it easier to choose a gift around the way someone dresses, then get the size right. The picks use different men's, women's and EU size systems. Match the recipient's category and the exact model's chart before selecting a size.
For the person who lives in slip-ons
UGG Women's Tasman II
Choose the Tasman II for someone who likes the familiar UGG look with a lower profile than the Tazz II. Its suede upper, braided trim and sheepskin interior bring the cozy feel; the easy slip-on shape works with the relaxed trousers and denim already in their wardrobe. It is the straightforward choice when extra platform height is not on their wish list.
Fit check: Buying for a half-size wearer? Compare their foot measurement with the chart for this exact style before choosing a whole size.
UGG Men's Tasman II
For someone who changes into slippers the moment they get home, start here. The Men's Tasman II has a suede upper with sheepskin lining and insole, plus the low silhouette and braided collar that define the style. It is a useful pick for the person who wants a familiar, casual shape without laces.
Fit check: Use the men's size chart for this pair. A number taken from a women's shoe is not the same size reference.
Birkenstock Boston Soft Footbed in Taupe
Choose the Boston for someone who already loves clogs and wants an open heel with a closed toe. This Taupe suede version has Birkenstock's Soft Footbed with an additional foam cushion and an adjustable buckle. The shape looks at home with socks and jeans, making it a different gift from a plush-lined slipper.
Fit check: If they already wear Birkenstocks, check both the EU size and width on that pair. Confirm the width of the selected Boston with us before ordering.
For a platform lover or a short-boot wearer
UGG Women's Tazz II
If their favorite shoes have a little lift, choose the Tazz II. Its 1.75-inch platform gives the suede slip-on a more substantial silhouette, while the sheepskin lining keeps the inside soft. It is a strong match for wide-leg jeans and relaxed trousers when they want the shoe to be part of the outfit.
Fit check: Choose it because they enjoy wearing platforms. Check the Tazz II size chart separately from the Tasman II.
UGG Women's Classic Mini II
For someone who prefers a boot around the ankle, the Classic Mini II brings the recognizable UGG shape in a short shaft. Its sheepskin upper and lining make it a cozy option for casual days. Pick this over a slipper when their usual outfit calls for a closed heel and a boot silhouette.
Fit check: Check the model-specific size chart and try the pair with the socks they expect to wear. Choose a waterproof style if rain protection is the priority.
For the person who prefers laces
Clarks Wallabee Shoe in Maple Suede
The Wallabee is a good place to start for someone whose wardrobe is mostly denim, chinos and simple layers. This is the low shoe, with a moccasin-shaped suede upper and the distinctive crepe sole. Maple Suede offers a lighter color choice alongside the darker boots they may already own.
Fit check: Check the men's size chart for this exact Wallabee style. Lace adjustment helps with the fit across the top of the foot; it does not replace choosing the right size.
Timberland Men's Redwood Falls Waterproof Chukka in Wheat
For someone who wants a waterproof lace-up with the familiar Wheat Timberland look, consider Redwood Falls. Its ankle-height chukka shape, waterproof leather and seam-sealed construction give this pick a different purpose from the suede shoes in the guide. It is the boot to consider when wet-weather protection is part of the gift brief.
Fit check: Use the size chart for Redwood Falls and check the fit with their usual boot socks. Do not apply a sizing rule from a different Timberland model.

Which footbed does this Birkenstock Boston have?
The Taupe suede Boston featured here has the Soft Footbed, which includes an additional foam cushion. Confirm the recipient's EU size and the width of the selected pair before ordering.
Which pick should I consider for wet weather?
