UGG Classic Mini Sizing Guide: How Should It Fit?
The UGG Classic Mini is one of the most-asked-about boots for fit. Here's how it should fit, from our team — an authorized UGG retailer since 2003.
Does the UGG Classic Mini run true to size?
Yes. The Classic Mini runs true to size. It feels snug brand-new, then the genuine sheepskin lining packs out and molds to your foot — usually loosening about half a size with wear. UGG Classics come in whole sizes only.
What if I'm between sizes?
Order down to the nearest whole size. The lining compresses as you break them in, so a snug start gives the best long-term fit. Sized up, they can feel loose once worn in.
How should the Classic Mini fit when new?
Snug all around, with your heel staying put (no slipping) and a little room at the toes. Close and cozy is right; sharp pinching is not. They loosen within a week or two of regular wear.
Should I size up for socks?
UGG Classics are made to be worn barefoot or with thin socks — the plush lining is the cushioning. Planning on thicker socks? Stay at your usual size rather than sizing down.
Do the Mini, Ultra Mini, and Short fit the same?
Yes — the same true-to-size, order-down-if-between guidance applies across the Classic family (Mini, Ultra Mini, Short, Tall).
How do I know my UGGs are real?
Counterfeit UGGs are everywhere online, so the safest move is to buy from an authorized UGG retailer — Feet Heart has been one since 2003. On a genuine pair, the sheepskin springs back when you press it (fakes feel flat and foamy), the sole carries the embossed UGG sunburst logo, the heel-label font is crisp and centered, and the stitching is clean and even. If the price looks too good to be true, it usually is.
