Dr. Martens runs a half size large. Most customers size down half — especially on the 1460 8-Eye and 2976 Chelsea. If you plan to wear thick socks or want a slow break-in with thicker insoles, order your usual size. The leather softens and conforms over the first 2–4 weeks.
