Clarks Wallabee Sizing Guide: Do They Run Big?
The Clarks Wallabee is a cult classic — but its fit catches people off guard. Here's how to size it. We're an authorized Clarks retailer, and a family-run shoe store since 2003.
Do Clarks Wallabees run big or small?
Wallabees tend to run large and roomy. In our fitting experience at the store, most people are happiest a half-size down from their usual sneaker size — the moccasin construction has a generous forefoot, and the suede relaxes further with wear. If you're between sizes, size down. If you want certainty before ordering, call us with your usual size and we'll check it against the pairs on our shelf.

How should the Wallabee fit?
Aim for a secure midfoot with a little toe room. The soft suede upper and moccasin construction stretch and soften with wear, so a snug (not tight) start is ideal. A touch of heel movement when brand-new is normal and settles as they break in.
Do the Wallabee shoe and Wallabee Boot fit the same?
In our fitting experience, yes — the shoe and the boot fit alike, so size them the same way. Whatever size works for you in one works in the other.
Are Wallabees good for wide feet?
The roomy fit makes them friendly for medium-to-wide feet. Narrow feet may prefer the half-size-down for a more secure hold.
Which Wallabee should I get — suede or leather?
The classic Wallabee comes in soft suede (Maple, Black, Cola) and smooth Beeswax leather. Suede is the iconic look and softens quickly; the Beeswax leather is a little more weather-friendly and wipes clean. In our fitting experience, sizing is the same across materials.
