What is the difference between the UGG Tasman II and Tazz II?
The Tazz II has a 1.75-inch platform; the Tasman II keeps a low profile. Both have suede uppers, UGGbraid trim and sugarcane EVA outsoles. They also differ inside: UGG lists a 17mm sheepskin vamp lining and insole for the women's Tasman II, and a 10mm sheepskin lining and insole for the women's Tazz II.
Like the braid but still deciding on the sole? Our Tasman vs Tazz comparison covers the two styles. The specifications above refer specifically to the current II versions.
Do UGG slippers run true to size?
For the women's Tasman II, your usual UGG size is a useful starting point: the fit feedback on UGG's product page averages true to size, while its review summary notes that some shoppers find it small. If you wear a half size, compare your heel-to-toe measurement with UGG's size chart before choosing between the whole-size options. Do not automatically size down.
Use UGG's official size chart for the measurements, and the Tasman II product page for its current fit feedback. We also have separate Tasman and Tazz sizing guides; match the advice to the exact generation you are buying.
Try your pair indoors on a clean surface, with the socks you plan to wear. Aim for comfortable toe room and a heel that sits fully on the footbed. Still choosing between sizes? Call (310) 398-7497 and tell us the model you have in mind.
Can you wear UGG Tasman II slippers outside?
Yes. UGG describes the Tasman II as suitable for indoors and outdoors. Its outsole is sugarcane EVA, as is the Tazz II's. That is different from the molded rubber outsole on the Scuffette II.
