Birkenstock Unisex Arizona Birko-Flor Sandal
$117.95
Pictured in Black. Two adjustable straps and a cork-latex footbed with suede lining. Birko-Flor is the synthetic upper; this is not an all-EVA sandal.
Choose your sizeCheck the seller and exact Birkenstock model before judging a footbed stamp. Genuine Birkenstocks do not all have the same construction: a Boston Soft Footbed, an Arizona Birko-Flor and an Essentials EVA sandal are different products. Weight, flexibility and a printed logo are not stand-alone authenticity tests.
Feet Heart is an authorized Birkenstock retailer and a family-run business since 2003. If you're choosing a new pair, start with the Boston clog for a closed toe or the Arizona Birko-Flor sandal for two adjustable straps.
| Check | What matters |
|---|---|
| Seller | Know which business is selling the pair. Use Birkenstock or an authorized retailer for your purchase. |
| Footbed | Original, Soft Footbed and EVA are different constructions. Do not expect identical materials. |
| Upper | Birko-Flor is synthetic. Suede and other leathers have a different surface; synthetic does not mean fake. |
| Size and width | Match the ordered size and width to the pair and box. Do not compare only the large EU number. |
| Origin | Check the relevant model. The brand distinguishes German-made sandals and footbeds from shoes and boots made in Europe. |
| Price and box | Read the seller's terms and ask about mismatches. Neither a convincing box nor a high price proves authenticity. |
The Black Arizona Birko-Flor linked here has a synthetic upper over a cork-latex footbed with suede lining. The Taupe suede Boston has the Soft Footbed version, which adds a cushioning layer. Compare that exact construction when shopping.
For a counterexample to the all-cork rule, Birkenstock's own Gizeh Essentials EVA is molded from EVA, including its footbed. That brand example explains the material difference; it is not the Arizona product featured below.
Do not force a sole to bend or use heaviness as a verdict. Those checks cannot tell you whether the seller's product matches the genuine model.
Birkenstock's U.S. counterfeit policy says its sandals and footbeds are made in Germany and its shoes and boots are made in Europe. Its manufacturing overview also describes component production in Portugal. That does not establish the origin of any particular pair: compare its own model details, not a universal rule for every Birkenstock label.
The U.S. policy distinguishes unauthorized products from counterfeit ones. A seller being unauthorized is not, by itself, proof that every pair from that seller is fake.

Pictured in Taupe suede. This pair has a Soft Footbed, closed toe, open heel and adjustable buckle. Choose it for the clog shape and cushioned, contoured footbed.
Choose your sizeFor the pictured colors, Arizona is the lower-priced choice and Boston gives you a closed toe. Choose for how you will wear the pair, then check the product page for current colors, sizes and prices.
Start with the seller and the exact model, then compare materials, footbed type and size information. A cork edge, logo or comfortable feel does not certify a pair. Buying directly from Birkenstock or an authorized retailer gives you a clearer purchasing source.
It depends on the model. The linked Boston Soft Footbed and Arizona Birko-Flor use cork-latex construction with suede lining. Genuine Essentials EVA models use molded EVA instead. Compare the correct product rather than expecting every pair to have visible cork and suede.
Compare the material, number of straps and hardware with official photos of the same style. Ask the seller about differences. Buckle engraving or tidy stitching cannot authenticate a pair by itself.
Check that the model, material, color, width and size information match the pair you ordered. Keep your receipt and ask about discrepancies. A convincing box is not a substitute for knowing the seller.
We have not verified a universal public Birkenstock serial-number lookup. Do not approve or reject a pair solely because it has a number, barcode or QR sticker. Ask Birkenstock through its official support channel about an unfamiliar label.
No. Birkenstock sells genuine EVA styles made from a single piece of that material. Birko-Flor is different: it names a synthetic upper and can be paired with a cork-latex footbed, as on the Arizona linked here.
Buy directly from Birkenstock or an authorized retailer. Feet Heart is an authorized Birkenstock retailer and a family-run business since 2003. Choose from our Boston and Arizona listings or browse the Birkenstock collection.
Keep the receipt and original listing. Photograph the shoe, size markings and box label, then ask the seller about the specific difference. Use the contact details on Birkenstock's own site for brand questions. This guide does not certify a pair bought elsewhere or offer an in-store authentication service.
A sandal sold under another brand's own name is a different product from one claiming to be Birkenstock. Compare the actual materials and fit rather than assuming a similar outline gives you the same footbed.
Read our Boston sizing guide, Arizona sizing guide or Birkenstock EU-to-U.S. sizing guide. The brand's size and width choices matter even when authenticity is not in question.
