Fit notes: Dr. Martens runs a half size large. Most customers size down half — order a U.S. 8 if you usually wear 8.5. If you plan to wear thick wool socks or want a slower break-in with thicker insoles, order your usual size. Break-in is 2–4 weeks; heel slip in the first few wears is normal.
