Suede upper, shearling-lined footbed, and the brand's contoured cork-and-latex anatomical footbed underneath. Wear sockless in winter; the shearling does the work.

Fit notes: Birkenstock uses European sizing. EU 36 fits like a U.S. women's 5–5.5; EU 40 like a U.S. men's 7–7.5. The shearling lining packs in slightly over the first 1–2 weeks. Order regular width unless you have specifically narrow feet.
