Fit notes: Birkenstock uses European sizing. EU 36 fits like a U.S. women's 5–5.5; EU 40 like a U.S. women's 9–9.5. Both straps have adjustable buckles. The footbed feels firm at first — that's intentional and breaks in over 1–2 weeks.
