Fit notes: Birkenstock uses European sizing. EU 36 fits like a U.S. women's 5–5.5; EU 40 like U.S. women's 9. Regular width is standard; narrow width is available on Arizona for slimmer feet. The footbed feels firm at first — that's intentional. After break-in, your foot leaves a faint impression in the cork, and that becomes the most supportive sandal you'll own.
